Everything happens for a reason…
Whether that means our lives are predestined or that we create blessings out of curses, at some point our curiosity will lead us to this exact place…a place where discovering how to excavate our deepest calling in life and live our greater purpose becomes an urgent nudge that can no longer be ignored.
Purpose is not defined…Purpose is discovered.
Your purpose has never been lost to you. Your purpose is unique to you and your journey and therefore no one can define your purpose for you. This is an inside job in which active participation, reflection and introspection is required so that you may answer the question…What is my purpose in life?
Everything happens for a reason…this is a phrase we hear often and the question is …What does it mean? And, do we believe it? Is it something that we tell ourselves to feel better when something goes bad in our life? I guess that would depend on your view of life, but what it comes down to is we either grow from our experiences or we let our experiences define what will happen in our life. We have a choice…we always have a choice. In other words…we can choose to find meaning or reason within everything that happens to us, (Life Lesson) which infuses our lives with a greater sense of purpose.
Purpose exists in everything.
We can choose to allow unexpected or negative aspects of life to be a curse or turn them into blessings. I know this might be a little hard to wrap your head around, but I have learned through my education in psychology and my work with thousands of clients that when we see experiences as an opportunity we find that even what could be considered the worst of obstacles and challenges turn out to be the biggest blessings. Sometimes our life events lead us to such miraculous and meaningful situations that we can’t help but see how maybe…just maybe, everything “was” really leading us towards something greater.
I challenge you….
I challenge you to reflect upon your life experiences and see how they have been a driving force in your life so you can see how the puzzle pieces fit together for you. By digging deeper with the right tools you will discover your purpose and learn how to align your purpose by living in integrity.
